Description

A highly waterproof and protective jacket for backcountry freeride.

This waterproof shell jacket (754g M/L 666g W/M) is made for powder runs in the backcountry but works excellent for all kinds of ski and snowboard activities as well.

The jacket is made in a premium GORE-TEX fabric. We use it because its the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 9), and total windproofness.

The main fabric is a 3-layer 70D X 160D GORE-TEX ePE-based PFC free technology (RET less than 9) with a 100% recycled nylon face (152 g/m2). It is reinforced with 3-layer 200D GORE-TEX ePE-based PFC free technology (RET less than 9) with a 100% recycled nylon face fabric (221 g/m2) on the shoulders and elbows as these areas are more exposed. Both recycled, and solution dyed with C-KNIT nylon backer.

Key features include: A helmet-compatible hood with one-hand adjustment, chest pocket, two zippered lower hand pockets with flaps, zippered sleeve pocket, underarm venting, chest venting, one zippered inner pocket, inside mesh pocket for more oversized items, a smooth fleece chin protector, one-hand hem adjustment, a detachable snow skirt and laminated woven hand gaiters.

The jacket has a slightly long, regular fit with articulated arms and a longer cut in the back for extra protection, perfect for backcountry riding.

Oeko-Tex Certified Standard: Oeko-Tex is an independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels. To be certified all parts of an article must meet the required criteria – in addition to the outer fabric, for example, also the sewing threads, inserts, prints etc., as well as non textile accessories, such as buttons, zip fasteners, rivets etc.
Bluesign Approved Fabric: The independent bluesign system pursues the unique approach to minimize the environmental impact of materials throughout the production process. The so-called Input Stream Management ensures that all during the textile production process applied substances and raw materials are already verified in advance of the production. The system focus guarantees the application of sustainable ingredients in a cleaner process that reduces water and air emissions, improves its waste water treatment and generally reduces its ecological footprint.
PFC Free DWR: PFCec FREE stands for Per and Poly-Fluorinated Chemical free of Environmental Concern, which means that the water repellent treatment (DWR) of all products marked with PFCec FREE DWR* does not contain PFCs which break down and dissolve into water, soil or air, and therefore do not harm the environment. Gore laminates with a PFCecFREE call out do not have surface PFC agents on both textile and membrane.
Oeko-Tex Certified Fabric: Oeko-Tex is a worldwide independent test- and certification system. They ensure that use of chemicals is aligned or exceeds national and international rules and standards.
PFC Free DWR: The repellent used on this product is free of fluor carbons. (DWR = Durable Water Repellent)
Bluesign Certified Fabric: Bluesign tests and educates textile factories to eliminate harmful substances from the production process and defines control standards for a sustainable and safe production.

Une veste impermable ultra-protectrice pour le freeride hors-piste. Conue pour glisser sur la poudreuse, cette veste shell impermable (754 g M/L 666 g W/M) est idale pour les adeptes du hors-piste. Elle s’adaptera galement parfaitement toutes sortes de disciplines en ski ou en snowboard. La veste est ralise dans un tissu GORE-TEX de qualit suprieure. Nous utilisons ce tissu, car il s’agit de la meilleure membrane au monde garantissant une impermabilit durable (28 000 mm), une respirabilit optimise (RET infrieur 9) et une protection totale contre le vent. Le tissu principal est compos d’une technologie GORE-TEX ePE sans PFC 70D x 160D (RET infrieur 9) triple couche avec une surface entirement en nylon recycl (152 g/m2). Nous avons ajout un renfort en GORE-TEX ePE sans PFC 200D (RET infrieur 9) triple couche avec une surface entirement en nylon recycl (221 g/m2) au niveau des paules et des coudes pour offrir une protection supplmentaire sur les zones exposes. Une matire la fois recycle, teinte dans la masse et avec un nylon intgrant la technologie C-KNIT Backer. Principales caractristiques : capuche compatible avec le port d’un casque et rglable d’une main, poche poitrine, deux poches basses zip pour les mains avec rabat, poche zip sur la manche, ventilation au niveau des aisselles, ventilation au niveau de la poitrine, une poche intrieure zip, une poche intrieure en mesh pour les objets plus volumineux, un protge-menton en polaire lisse, un ourlet rglable d’une main, une jupe pare-neige amovible et des protge-mains en tissu lamin. La veste prsente une coupe classique lgrement allonge avec des manches articules et une coupe plus longue l’arrire pour une protection renforce, ce qui en fait un vtement idal pour le hors-piste.
